This historical exhibition presents, in a condensed manner, all the most important issues of the history of KL Auschwitz, as well as the genesis of the Nazi movement and specific elements of the German system of terror in occupied Poland.
The exhibition was constructed chronologically-thematically on the basis of source material and iconography of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum. Included are: photographs, documents, illegal artistic works by camp prisoners as well as post-war work done by witnesses who survived, illustrating the facts of everyday life in the camp.
